In the Middle Ages, the Camino to Santiago de Compostela was addressed in the name of faith, pilgrims today but they do also for the spirit of adventure, to admire the Romanesque and Gothic monuments and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

And then you also match with the many pilgrims from France, and crossed the Pyrenees at Roncesvalles in Navarre, with mountains, wheat fields and vineyards, arriving in Pamplona , the city of bull runs wild and beautiful late medieval Cathedral.

In Castile awaits Burgos , with its beautiful squares, the old castle and the spectacular Gothic cathedral of the thirteenth century, characterized by three times the star that illuminates beautifully the central nave and two chapels.
Continuing instead stop at Leon , where you will find the stunning Catedral de Santa Maria La Blanca, the emblem of the sacred casigliana and one of the most beautiful in Spain with the incredible facade and bright windows, and the Real Basilica de San Isidoro, eg of fine Spanish Romanesque.

The last piece of the Way, then through the fascinating Galicia , a region of great natural landscapes of green hills and country churches, W Cerberio stay longer, one of the first stations of pilgrimage, visited the Benedictine monastery of Samos, cross Lavacolla and enter the beautiful Santiago de Compostela where you'll find the magnificent Cathedral of St James keeper.
